This College was Started in 1972 with the faculty of Arts & Commers. This College has been stated as a center of higher education by VYWS Society Amravati. Which was established in the year 1965 . under the Chairmanship of Late Prof. Ram Meghe , Farmer education minister of M.S. Br. Ramrao Deshmukh renowned personality in the Field if Co-operation, politics & education and industrialist Mr. Jawaharlal Kapadia donated funds to VYWS, the reform the faculty of Arts has been named offer Dr. Ramrao Deshmukh & Conmerce faculty has been named offer late Indirajit Kapadia. College progressed under the Chairmanship fo Prof. Ram Meghe & Started Science faculty in the year 1991.
